THE STORY
Resolutely buoyant, feminine and perfectly at ease, this versatile collection of Ikat cotton tunics, dresses and more is designed for effortless style! With precise cutting, traditional techniques like Bagru and Dabu block printing, this range in neutral tones with sparks of bold color and unified textures contrasting with the patterns, creates a distinctive yet everyday look.

Azeen, the female explorer, is brave, valiant, inquisitive and imaginative! This collection celebrates the technique and skill of the artisans who work with natural ingredients & handwoven materials such as linens and cottons.

This collection is adorned with ‘mud-resist’ Dabu hand block printing. Dabu is a resist printing technique in which a thick viscous paste made of clay, lime, tree gum and insect eaten wheat is used in a printing process to resist the desired pattern from dyeing colors.

This Bagru craft is predominantly done by the Bagru Chhipa community that migrated from Jaipur to the Bagru region near Sanjaria river. The river provided them with water and chikni mitti, or mud from its banks, that are important ingredients in the textile printing process. The word 'Chippa' means block and the community bearing this name is involved in block printing craft.
