Made from pure handspun and woven Pashmina, this exquisite shawl is embellished with 1830s early Sikh period Kagazi (very fine like paper) jamawar borders which have been handwoven stitch by stitch with special wooden spools called Tojli in Kashmiri.
A connoisseurs delight. The borders have been expertly restored by traditional Najibabadi rafoogars and enhanced with kashmiri kingri embroidery along the borders and sides.
This exquisite jamawar shawl is a vintage piece that has been restored by trained rafugars. Slight irregularities may occur and are a special feature of its vintage charm.
